This little trip was a Christmas present from our daughter and son in law.

We stayed in a quaint little AirBNB.

The beach here is one of the sandiest and prettiest views. There are a couple of small beaches which you will find if you decide to go for little walks. One of the smaller beaches has a large dinner beach cafe, near the Tate. This beach is also sometimes good for surfing.

St. Ives is quite a small place with a train station and plenty of buses, so you can venture out to other amazing places.

There are plenty of places to eat and drink.

The friendly local pub was the Life Boat Inn, the food was reasonably priced and lots of it. We also visited the Thai restaurant next door called Talai Thai. This was a new experience, delicious but very busy. There’s also a traditional and popular pub on the seafront called the Sloop Inn. You will find fish and chips, pizza, Indian restaurants and many more favourite foods.

Most of St. Ives is on the seafront with back streets for shops, little independent gifs shops and convenient stores for groceries bread, milk, beer etc. Also, a few charity shops dotted about and lots more.

Have fun and enjoy.
